Pant is one clothing item covering the human body’s lower part. Both for men and women. It is constructed from many different parts of pants which require different handling.

There are two kinds of pants. Basic pants for more official purposes or special occasions. Denim pants are generally used for general work or fashion or style purposes. These denim pants are usually called jeans.

There are a lot of parts of pants depending on the design. Including some trim and accessories. But the common parts can be seen as explained below:

1. Top Side / Front Rise

This is the front side of the pants. In jeans, it is called front rise. This is the side that has a zipper, two side pockets, and a coin pocket in jeans. You can put some accessories on the front side.

2. Back Side / Back Rise and Back Yoke

The back side of the pants is where you will sit. In jeans, it is called the back rise. Meanwhile, jeans also have a back yoke, which is the top part of the back rise connected to the waist belt.

3. Pockets

In basic pants, the pockets are usually located in the front part of the pants. But in jeans, these pockets are also placed at the back rise. There is a coin pocket, a small pocket, usually located in the right front pocket of the jeans.

4. Waist Band and Belt Loops

These parts of pants are also called waistbands, where you can put the front button on the pants. Including the loops for the belt. The total of the loops is varying, between four up to six loops. Depending on the design.
